However, Invisalign Teen offers added features that accommodate the lifestyle of active and busy teenagers.
How do Invisalign and Invisalign Teen work?
The process of getting started with Invisalign or Invisalign Teen begins with a consultation with our orthodontist Hampshire at Winchester Orthodontics. During this free consultation, we will thoroughly assess your dental condition and determine if Invisalign is the right treatment for you. After your examination with Dr Suzette Mulder, you will then discuss your treatment options with our treatment coordinator. If Invisalign is deemed suitable, you will then have an appointment when we will create a digital 3D image of your teeth. This cutting-edge iTero technology enables us to map out a precise treatment plan, including the movements your teeth will undergo during each stage of the process. Based on this plan, a series of customised aligners will be created just for you. Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks, and as you progress through the series, your teeth will gradually shift into their desired positions. Our team will monitor your progress regularly, ensuring that the treatment is on track and making any necessary adjustments along the way.

There are so many benefits to choosing Invisalign, (sometimes spelt incorrectly as Invisaline). Firstly, the clear aligners used in both Invisalign and Invisalign Teen make them virtually invisible. Invisalign aligners are also made from smooth and comfortable plastic, reducing the likelihood of irritation in your mouth as you are wearing them. They are also removable, which means that you will be able to eat, drink, brush, and floss as normal. Moreover, since the aligners are removable, maintaining good oral hygiene is much easier than with other treatment options. All you need to do is to brush and floss your teeth as you normally would after taking out your aligners. With Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, the fact that the aligners may be removed also means that there are no food restrictions, as you can remove the aligners while eating.
