No discomfort at all and my mouth got used to the retainers within the first week or two. They didn’t affect my speech or eating regime. While my teeth are still not ‘Tom Cruise’ standard, the procedure has made a huge difference; not only in stopping the decline, but in reversing it. I should have done this years ago.
